We are the world's only charity studio, located in Ashford, Kent, UK
What we do is simple, help out artists/bands/singers or anyone that wants to set foot in the music/media industry, as much as we can. Usually with things like free mixing, mastering and sometimes recording, promo and features on our show

(our spec sheet and services list)
Normally, any studio with the equipment we use (mainly emulations of vintage hardware and some analogue hardware too) and the experience we offer would charge around £200-300 per track to get it done.
But we do it for free.
Yes, for free.
It is free for unsigned, struggling artists that do not sell their music. The people that actually need help, finding jobs, sending demos, or just looking for someone to acknowledge their existence.
Why? - Because we have been around through the industry and found out it’s not easy for everyone.
The idea is that not all artists have a chance of getting their art (tracks, compositions, songs, videos etc.) up to commercial standard; they can probably get this if they get signed by a label.
The problem is that because of the digital revolution, labels are not willing to spend a lot on developing artists nowadays; they expect everything to be done when it gets to them. This means that the artist usually has to invest his/her own money in getting their tracks to standard, just to submit them as demos, that will probably never get listened to.
This also means that everyone will try to "do it themselves" which will degrade the quality of the track even more as they will over compress it, over limit it and give it that digitally-made-at-home-for-blowing-up-speakers sound which every song that's not in the charts has (or doesn't have a budget of over ££££)
This is where we come in. We basically accept all media from all artists of all types, and we help them improve. This usually implies things like helping them write better lyrics, editing their arrangement, helping them with tips and tricks to do better productions, even record some of them. But mainly we help by getting their tracks and bringing them up to standard - giving them the professional mixing/mastering treatment - so they can submit to labels, send to radios or even just have as an achievement they can be proud of.
At the moment we are providing free help, support and advice as well as studio services to artists around Kent and London, as well as spread throughout the UK and the world.
We believe that everyone deserves a chance in finding a career in something they love, even though they can't afford going to a big studio, we do it for them, offering the same standard, but without the costs.
We can help with
constructing the tracks, strategic / knowledge management consulting
Copyrights, ISRC codes, OMF, DDP
free mixing and mastering or post production
help finding distribution channels
promotion through our video/radio show and social media channels
placement for tracks/artists
connection with a&r/lables worldwide
We are looking for
donations and sponsors to keep doing what we are doing.
to partner up with other recording studios on a work/transfer basis.
studios to provide paid mixing/mastering work (that would be send to us as a donation) in exchange for us providing paid recording work (sourced from donations and artists we help)
Little by little, we start and help and little by little we make the world better, provide jobs, provide help and make sure people will have a secure future being artists.
We currently have a mixing and mastering studio set up and have some basic
equipment to help fill any gaps in production/recording.
We cannot offer a full recording package as we lack the facility for recording, but we are on contact with purpose built recording facilities that can accomodate our artists.
We are looking for any help with securing a commercial facility to construct a working recording studio that will operate under normal studio rates. We will provide most of the equipment and our highly recommended engineer against part of the rent/costs and the ability to continue to work as a charity studio for struggling artists when the studio is not in use.
Please have a look at some pictures below, there are some from our studio and some from another studio we can get access to if needed..
We are mainly a digital mixing and mastering studio but we use analogue emulations as we believe that even though the analogue sound is sough after, technology nowadays has progressed to the point where you can't tell the difference.
We have all of our equipment and plugins edited and customized so we can provide a unique and edgy sound that will propel tracks through the clogged market.
The Rock Band drum kit that we customised to use as a 4 drum electronic drum kit, velocity responsive and outputting midi into Pro Tools.
The MIDI guitar is a customized Fender with control midi buttons and wobbling plastic strings.
Custom Massive Passive EQ, edited for noise and filter to give it an unique sound unlike those existant on the market.
Custom API/Neve emulation plugins, which don't need an explanation.
Focusrite award winning interface - coming from a off-the-shelf interface, we tinkered with the sounds in/out and made something special.
